Taiwan - last post

Started day 3 with yummy Japanese brunch.
I miss the real fresh salmon so freaking much!

Went Xi Men Ding 西门町
MRT in Taiwan is really convenient!
Everything seems to be great until the summer warmth spoil my shopping spree =(

Ended up hiding in Haagen Dazs
Wasn't craving for ice-ream, it's actually the air-conditioned room I was craving for. XD
Felt like heaven when stepped into the shop.
Summer is really not a good time for outdoor.

Look nice but too sweet.
I don't born with sweet tooth.
Wondering where did I lost it =S

Snapped these interesting pics in Xin Men Ding
Pic took on that day is nearly zero.
Weather's fault! Made me sleepy and exhausted.

In the evening, went Wu Fen Pu 五分埔 to shop!
Was too busy to snap pic. Hehe.
And there's actually nothing grabbed my baby Nikon's attention.
(Except for that cute poodle)

Famous 卤肉饭for dinner.
Again, the portion is S-M-A-L-L!!!!!!
I repeat... SMALL!!!

I ordered chicken slices rice, recommended by mum's driver upon my first arrival.
Thumbs up.
Thanks Uncle Tim. =D

卤肉饭
Taste as good as how it looks.

Then I called it a day.
LOL, so reluctant to type.
Am sleepy now.
ZZZZ

The next day, time to fly back.

Last meal in Taiwan.

Goodbye Taiwan, do welcome my next visit with open arms. =)

Taiwan is really a nice place for relaxation.
You do not necessary need to visit all the common places of interest.
It is a beautiful city for you to explore.
Whether you're nature lover, culture lover or shopaholic, Taiwan can be your right choice.
Here is where I put a full stop for my Taiwan trip.

Taiwan Day 2

Started off my day with a beautiful summer morning.
It was only 8++ in the morning but is already so much brighter compared with Malaysia.

One of the best thing in life is to start your day with delicious breakfast in a cozy place.
Movenpick was my 'pick of the day'
Walking distant from my apartment.

The taste of food is not very memorable but the ambiance pays it off.
And that portion, is not meant for filling up my black hole (laugh).

It was indeed a busy schedule I planned a night before.
I randomly chose the places that is reachable by MRT.

First stop,
Tamsui 淡水

Why Tamsui? Simply because it is far enough. Haha

The riverside park is beautiful.
Located beside the MRT station.
The song 河滨公园kept on playing in my mind.
I love how far away Tamsui is from the busy city. I'm not a city person (although living in a city now).
Stress level dropped all the way to nil when I was in Tamsui.
Nature is always the best stress fighter.

In a very short distance, it is where Tamsui old town located.

Sour plum juice! I started to miss it already.
It was my life saver against the hot weather. ^^

Tried the local food in Tamsui - 阿给. What an interesting name. Haha
It is a combination of simple ingredients. Tofu skin + 冬粉 + fish.
Took a small bowl of 卤肉饭 too. It's extremely small =.=

After the energy boosting session, the journey continued.
These pic was captured on the way to my next destination - 红城XX (I forgotten the full name ><)
What a beautiful town. <3

Ta da~
It is actually quite far from MRT station. I can go there by bus but I insist not to.
Just don't want to miss out any beautiful sight in the town.
Forgive me for no captions. Brain went blank.
No idea what to say about these pic.
But these pic are good enough to self explain, no?

Then, I took bus to 渔人码头.
Nothing there, seriously nothing.
I was expecting something but just nothing. Haha.
Wanted to pay a visit due to curiosity on how it looks like since a lot of concerts held there.

Second stop,
Xin Bei Tou 新北投

This place is famous for it's natural hot spring.
Personally, I love this place more.
This place gave me a more relaxed feeling although Tamsui is not bad too.

The MRT station is decorated nicely.
Taiwan is quite an artistic place. Love it!

Spotted anything? Are we looking at the same thing? Hehe

Another garden, opposite MRT station - Bei Tou Garden

Visited an impressively designed library but photography is not allowed in there.
If there is a chance, must visit!

This is how the library looks like, from outside.
If I'm not mistaken, it is designed as a ship.

Thermal Valley
Lots of mosquitoes there T.T
Still, NZ's thermal valley is the best of all!

This is how NZ's look like
Sorry about the poor resolution. Was using digital cam instead of DSLR back then.

There is a open hot spring river near the thermal valley.

Pampering my tired legs after almost whole day of walking.

My new friend. Haha

Pic took while omy back to MRT station

My last stop was Shilin Night Market but the server went wrong, I can't upload the pic. =(
Maybe next post?

Time to say goodbye.
